Tour Overview
Iran classic tour in 9 days starts in Tehran, ends in Shiraz. As a traveler, you enjoy both ancient and modern Persia. We walk from current capital of Iran, Tehran, which is renowned for galleries and museums. Later Kashan city of traditional houses and wonderful desert of Matin Abad. Next we stop at Safavid city of Isfahan, capital of Iran in 1600s – 1700s, stunning city of Islamic art and architecture. Last but not least, Shiraz where we have a worthy visit to the largest empire of ancient time and the first Persian Empire, Achaemenid (550-330 B.C).

Day 1 | Tehran

Transfer to Hotel
Welcome to Tehran. DanaTrips host is available to assist you at IKA airport and transfer you to the hotel. As we enter the city we visit Azadi Tower, symbol of Tehran since 1971. Overnight stay in Tehran.

Day 2 | Tehran

Tehran City of Museums
After a healthy breakfast visiting Iran National Museum is on the top of the list, where aging more than 70 years. Next site that is UNESCO world heritage site is fabulous Golestan Palace. Continue with Abghineh Museum which is known as Qavam house, the man who was appointed as the Prime Minster of Iran five times in various era. Later we take a visit to Ferdows Garden and its surrounding area. Tonight is time to enjoy a welcome dinner in Iranian style. Overnight stay in Tehran.

Day 3 | Tehran

Tehran City of Contemporary Art
Today we visit Saad Abad Complex in northern part of Tehran is known as contemporary complex. Then National Jewelry Museum is placed in basement of Central Bank of Iran. Later visit will be Carpet Museum where Persian carpets from different periods are shown. In the evening we visit contemporary newborn Tabiat Bridge the largest pedestrians overpass in the whole country and we spend a couple of hours in a traditional tea house. Overnight stay in Tehran.

Day 4 | Kashan

Kashan City of Iranian Houses
Early morning drive to Kashan. First visit to  house of Tabatabaei and then Sultan Amir Ahmad Hammam (traditional bathhouse). Later we have a visit to Agha Bozorg Mosque-School. Before leaving, we have a visit to Fin Garden and its area. Keep on our way to Matin Abad village. Overnight stay in Matin Abad eco-camp.

Day 5 | Matin Abad Desert

Enjoy the Beauty of Desert
You are free to enjoy the beauty and calmness of Matin Abad desert. There are lot to do in desert, where you can enjoy starry sky, calmness of desert, delicious local food, camel riding, cycling, desert safari and staying at one of the best practice of eco-camps in the world. Overnight stay in Matin Abad eco-camp.

Day 6 | Isfahan

Isfahan Half of the World
Today, first we visit Chehel Sotoun Palace the n we head out for an energetic day of sightseeing, begin with Naghsh-e Jahan square registered by UNESCO in 1979. First visit to shinning mosque of Shah (Imam) located in south of square, then we move to splendid mosque of Sheykh Lotfollah in western side of square.  Later visit to Ali Qapu Palace. You are free to roam along historic Qeysareieh Bazaar. Finally we take a worthy visit to Music Museum in Armenian district of the city where you will also enjoy the beauty of Vank cathedral in night. Overnight stay in Isfahan.

Day 7 | Pasargadae & Persepolis

Stroll into Achaemenid Capital
Morning drive to Pasargadae. Pasargadae, the palace of Cyrus the Great, the Persian king who ruled over world with justice. We’ll spend rest of the day on visiting Persepolis ceremonial complex, the amazing palace which is built by order of Darius the Great, (Darius I). The ceremonial palace of Persepolis comprises a series of palaces, throne and audience halls. After Persepolis, we shall drive to the nearby tombs at Naqsh-e Rustam, believed to be those of the Achaemenid rulers. As we arrive in Shiraz, we take a visit to Holy shrine of Shah Cheragh. Overnight stay in Shiraz.

Day 8 | Shiraz

Shiraz City of Kind People 
Today we are in Shiraz. Early morning visit to colorful Nasir-al Mulk Mosque or as it called Pink Mosque. Then we walk to Narenjestan Qavam House, traditional Qajari house converted into museum. Later Karim Khan Citadel is visited. Vakil bazaar and its other belongings constructions such as Vakil bathhouse and Vakil mosque is the next stop. Persian Garden of Eram is our next stop. Last but not least is Hafez Tomb, Persian poet of 14th. Overnight stay in Shiraz.

Day 9 | Shiraz

Transfer to Airport 
Late in the morning, your guide accompanies you to the SYZ airport that can be easily reach. For those not ready to return home yet, Shiraz is a great jumping off point to Kerman, Boushehr, Ahwaz and many other exciting destinations.
