This trip spans from the bustling and populous city of Ho Chi Minh City in the south to Hanoi, influenced by French culture, in the north. It’s an unforgettable experience designed to allow you the freedom to explore Vietnam and its culture with the assistance of local guides. We will also visit the historic center of Hoi An, a renowned UNESCO World Heritage site, with its shimmering lanterns, and we won’t leave Vietnam without visiting the iconic God’s Bridge.

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, after you finish all customs and immigration procedures. DanaTrips host will transfer to your hotel in town by a private vehicle.

Formerly known as “Saigon” before 1975, Ho Chi Minh City today is Vietnam’s commercial centre that never sleeps. Although it’s a dynamic metropolis undergoing dramatic change, the city still retains the strong connection to its past through historical sites and French colonial monuments. Morning visit to Cu Chi tunnels, then we take a deep visit to Ho Chi Minh city.

This morning, head out to untouched areas not well-known by tourists in Ben Tre. Board the Apricot Cruise, featuring open on all sides to allow the river breezes to flow freely. From the comfort of your Apricot Cruise, meander down the Mekong observing local life play out along the river banks. Visit some local families and see how local traditional methods utilize every bit of the coconut. It is a full day of interesting experiences: boat rowing through winding water-coconut canals, bike riding along lush rural roads, sampling tasty local cakes, tea with honey, and enjoying lunch served with Mekong specialties at Apricot Riverside Restaurant.

Wake up early morning and board a local boat to visit Cai Rang floating market. The waterway becomes a maze of hundreds of boats, you will see an interesting trading activity by using a traditional “offering pole”-exchanging consumer goods hanging on the pole for Mekong fruit and vegetables with local sellers. Return to the shore for a city tour of Can Tho starting with Can Tho Museum, which is home to more 5000 objects and historical relics. This is the largest museum in Mekong Delta, showcasing the agriculture and river life of the region. Wind your way to Binh Thuy Ancient House, filled with features that represent rural areas in the Mekong Delta region during the 20th century. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City after the tour, lunch is served en-route at a local restaurant.

First, we will take bamboo boats to the village of Cam Thanh, and then we will head to the legendary city of Hoi An. We will visit the ancient architecture of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage site, accompanied by a local guide, and explore the city step by step.

Today, drive about 1.5-hour from downtown Hoi An to Ba Na Hill, a scenic mountainous area with panoramic vistas reminiscent. Standing more than 1,400 meters (4,878 feet) above sea level, the temperature of this place is mostly cool year-round. Arrive at Ba Na Hills cable car station, ride on a modern system of cable cars and Get a bird’s-eye view of
nature which is strikingly beautiful, while enjoying a feeling of flying in the blue sky among the clouds and wind. Experience the feeling of walking in the clouds when you walk on the Golden Bridge which seems to be supported by a pair of giant hands jutting out of the mountain. Then, enjoy your leisure time on Ba Na Hills for further activities such as European Architecture Villas, in-door game, French Wine Cellar, flower beds and pagodas.

Morning fly to Hanoi. The capital of Vietnam, Ha Noi is a perfect blend of old and new, Asian and European, a dynamic unification of tradition and progressive 21st-century thinking. Despite recent rapid development, the city has retained much of its traditional identity.

Today we visit the complex dedicated to Ho Chi Minh, the nation’s founder and affectionately known to the Vietnamese as “Uncle Ho”. Make the first stop at the historic Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, an imposing monument built to serve as the final resting place of Uncle Ho. Continue walking through the beautiful botanical garden of the Presidential Palace to visit Uncle Ho’s humble house, built based on a rural Vietnamese stilt house with simple design in a tranquil setting, reflecting his simple, pure and noble lifestyle. Tour the One Pillar Pagoda, built in 1049 of wood on a single stone pillar, designed to resemble a lotus blossom, a symbol of purity.

Begin the day full of energy with the Tai Chi session and enjoy the sunrise over the bay. After reaching Viet Hai jetty, the guest will have a great experience in cycling or having a ride on an e-cart to Viet Hai village through the tropical rainforest canopy and towering limestone mountains, also surrounded by the green. Learn about the villager’s daily life and how people built and lived in the bamboo thatched houses; the earthen walls are made of straw and mud covered with trellis, forming walls to block rain and wind.
